Anne T. Henderson Biography
Anne Henderson is a senior consultant with the Community Organizing and Engagement Program at the Annenberg Institute for School Reform. Her specialty is the relationship between families and schools, and its impact on students’ success in school and through life.
Anne has written many reader-friendly articles, reports, and books including Beyond the Bake Sale: The Essential Guide to Family-School Partnerships, A New Wave of Evidence: The Impact of School, Family and Community Connections on Student Achievement, and Family-School-Community Partnerships 2.0: Collaborative Strategies to Advance Student Learning.
Anne works across the country with organizations that represent or serve parents and community members. She graduated from Oberlin College, and has a Master’s Degree in politics from Rutgers University. She has worked in Civil Rights and Anti-Poverty programs for the federal government and for the New Jersey Department of Education.
