Gabriel Tanglao, a product of New Jersey Public Schools, earned an MA in Economics Education from the University of Delaware, an MS in Teaching and BA in Political Science from Pace University. As a social studies teacher, he specializes in AP economics, financial literacy, world history and global issues. Beyond the classroom, Gabriel advises the National Social Studies Honor Society, Model United Nations and STEM Mentor. Active in the union, he serves as local treasurer and chair of the legislative action team. Gabriel is also a graduate of NJEA Union School, the NJEA Apprentice Program and leads NJEA’s first Minority Leadership Training Cadre. Gabriel is deeply committed to the cause public education both inside and outside of the classroom.
