The National Education Association (NEA) will create an ongoing series in the NEA Today and existing digital resources the histories of and intersectionality of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) people and persons with disabilities so all NEA members can learn about these diverse groups of people that have been marginalized in the K-12 historical narrative and make accurate and meaningful classroom connections.

Rationale/Background
