NEA will monitor politicians for academic truth in claims and ideas pertaining to public education. 


Politicians and authorities have used and abused misinformation, false claims, exaggerations, and even fabrications in order to promote reforms that include such ideas as choice, competition, high-stakes testing, merit pay, charter schools, VAM, CCSS, and SBAC.
