NEA will publish an article using digital channels clarifying the rationale for the exclusion of "creation science" in science classrooms. This article will also be archived on the NEA website.

Rationale/Background

Resolution B-56 specifically states that science content must be based upon empirically collected evidence. "Creation science" does not meet this criterion. Yet, science teachers sometimes face criticism from their communities and colleagues for carrying out their duties as science teachers.
