2. President Eskelsen García, on behalf of NEA membership, will write a letter of concern directed to the president and CEO of McDonald’s regarding the corporation’s inequitable labor practices, displacement of workers, and exploitation of schools for marketing junk food to children through McTeacher’s Nights. Local associations will be encouraged to submit similar letter to media outlets where McTeacher’s Nights are prevalent.

3. President Eskelsen García, on behalf of NEA membership, will write a letter to the presidents of state and national PTAs urging them to stop all partnerships with McDonald’s on McTeacher’s Nights at the earliest.
